In Brendan’s own words: While it is no secret that over the years I have been able To make some very big chunks of money, what is less known is how I made it. I feel slightly reluctant to tell you this because it goes against the grain of what a successful person is 'supposed to do.' The way I make money is very unusual. I encourage you to not envy me, but figure out how you could do it too. The rest of the time I was driving around in my Porsche or skiing in Aspen. By the way – when I first started that business 27 years ago, I was flat broke. I had an old second hand car, 2 pairs of business pants; one was worth $17 and the other $19, 3 shirts, one tie and no suit. These days I don't take unscheduled calls in the office - I just don't want to be that available. Freedom is everything to me. I travel a lot. On average I spend about 3 months a year on vacation – exploring tropical islands, holidaying in Europe and skiing in Colorado. In the business I am in now, I don't work a million hours a week and I answer to no one. I have multiple streams of income. For example I made over six figures in pure profit from a website page that took me about 22 hours to create. Since then I have hardly lifted a finger and the money still keeps coming in. I have another business that brings in a large 6 figure income in pure profit and it takes me 3 days a month of my time. And I have other profitable income streams. I show people how to do this in my seminars. I now mentor many people who are just starting out in business as well as my many multi millionaire clients and have trained tens of thousands of people in Australia, USA, NZ, China and Asia. Having money makes things that much easier to spend the time with those you love or take some amazing holidays. What do I do?
